Outstandingly accommodating staff, marvellous breakfast, stunning location right by all the restaurants and pubs, Ambleside, the heart of the Lake District and the leisure centre.

We did not want to leave there and will be back, enjoyed the city and hotel. Everything was very comfortable, personnel was service-minded and dedicated. The breakfast had a lot of selection, the food was local.  

Extremely pleasant room and own bathroom with all necessary facilities. Lovely building in the centre of Ambleside. Also - close to the bus stops, the local attractions and lovely Ambleside.

Well-equipped and a nice size rooms with great views with astonishing views.

I would book again or recommend it to friends. Everything is great here, had a memorable stay for my business trip. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and delightful with great view, thoughtful touches, for example and the staff are lovely.

Thanks very much for a truly memorable stay for a night at Lacet House-absolutely perfect. The staff are amazing and super, managed the parking onsite. The breakfast is incredibly nice with orange juice, a warm welcome from the hosts plus

I had an amazing stay and would stay here again, thank you. I enjoyed the room with a grear view, the bed was very comfy. The hotel's position was good, close to everything including laundromat.

There were large beds and central heating, coffee/tea making equipment, and a multi-channel television inside the room. The staff were all dedicated and helpful.

Fairly clean place with very very helpful staff and particularly nice view of the hills. Very nice area, central location just off town / walking trails, and the cafes, restaurants and shops.

The very helpful staff working throughout the hotel. Large bed in quadruple room with an electric kettle, central heating, and a TV. Delightful food for all meals.

I was offered a tasty breakfast with far more than the usual B, lovely views plus tasty local food. The rooms were high standard and beautifully decorated with own bathrooms.

Well, it was a lovely stay for a night at Lacet House-absolutely perfect. The hotel was placed in the central location in lake district. Café Copper Pot Cafe located 1 km away was a nice surprise.
